Slake Durability Apparatus

This test method was developed for ASTM D4644 to evaluate the deterioration of rocks over a period of time when subjected to water immersion. The device consists of a motorized propulsion unit mounted on a base plate and connected to two or four drums that rotate at a speed of 20 r.p.m.
