This machine is used specifically in the laboratory for cutting core samples from hard materials such as rock and concrete. A clamp is provided to hold the material firmly during the cutting cycle. The ginning area is protected by a transparent cylinder. A special clamping device for preparing rock samples from the core parts is also available.
