The Shearmatic EmS is the fully automatic direct shear testing machine that benefits from the new low-maintenance, efficient Electromechanical Servoactuation (EmS) technology. Quiet, compact, and high-performance, the Shearmatic EmS testing system can run as a stand-alone unit or with our software that can connect up to 6 units with just one PC, allowing you to gradually and continuously expand your lab.   • User interface via 6″ color touch screen and w/ optional PC control via LAN port and dedicated software.

  • Maximum horizontal force: 10 kN
  • 2 displacement transducers that measure vertical settlement and horizontal displacement.
  • 2 dedicated load cells for vertical and horizon force measurement
  • Vertical load cell mounted directly on the tip, ensuring readout and feedback signal
  • Variable speed from 0.00001 to 15. 00000 mm / min
  • High fatigue resistant cutting box – actuating head – load cell
  • Compatible with cutting boxes up to 100 mm diameter or square sample.
  • Adjustable speed and stroke (forward / reverse).
  • For residual cut tests
  • Adjustable number of cycles from 1 to 99.
  • Suitable for performing edometric consolidation using typical consolidation cells
  • Recording of specific and independent data for consolidation and failure on stages
  • Network ready for remote monitoring of test status via PC, tablet or smartphone.
