I-Beam Formwork

PERTA Lda was awarded in 2016, on a turnkey basis, the full supply of the formwork, of the 6 I-beam prefabrication lines, with all the auxiliary equipment necessary for their production.

The facility will serve to complete the 31 km highway connection from the port of Skikda to the east-west highway in Algeria. The contract, worth 218 million euros, was awarded to the prestigious Portuguese company, “Teixeira Duarte S.A.”

Construction of the foundation blocks

The lengths of the beams to be built vary between 30 and 40 meters, with I-types of 1540, 1690, 1890 and 2014 mm high. The prestressing of the beams reaches 1000 tons of tension in the strands.
